| How to book the Mayfield String Quartet for your special event: Please contact Hannah at 216-421-7006 or email hannah@mayfieldstringquartet.com Please provide us with the date, time, location of your event, and the kind of group you are looking for (i.e. string quartet, violin duo, string trio with trumpet) Keep in mind we do not travel more than approximately one hour each way from Cleveland, and may charge a fee if the travel is more than 15 miles. We will let you know if we are available, and give you a price quote (prices on this site subject to change.) We will work with you to fit your needs and budget. If you decide to book, we will send a contract, and we require a deposit of half the fee in advance. Details are specified in the contract. One important thing to keep in mind: We are happy to play in outdoor venues provided we are not subject to direct sunlight, precipitation, or cold (we need to be more than 64 degrees). Our instruments are valuable and cannot be subjected to those circumstances. Any raindrops will destroy the varnish on our instruments, so we are very strict about this. If you have any repertoire concerns or special requests, we will work with you as best we can to make sure your event is just as you envision it! You can view most of our current repertoire on this website. If you want a piece that isn't listed, just let us know in advance (two to three months notice to be safe) and we will try to find it and arrange it for the group. Some people think we can play anything we hear, but actually we can only play songs we have sheet music for. Most songs have sheet music available but sometimes it takes a few weeks to acquire, and then we need time to arrange it for string ensemble and learn it! |
